The Origin
Where did G² come from?
It’s simple. Garland and Griffin. Two surnames beginning with G, so G squared seemed like the perfect fit.
But behind the name are two people who have spent much of their lives around motocross and off-road motorcycles.
Dave Garland and Colin Griffin have over 100 years of combined experience in the sport and motorcycle industry. Between them, they’ve been riders, racers, parents, dealers, wholesalers, distributors and business owners.
Motocross isn’t simply a business to them. It’s something they’ve grown up with, lived and breathed, and continue to be involved with today.

Dave's background
Dave’s passion for motocross began in the 1970s when his dad started taking him to race meetings around the country. Watching riders such as Graham Noyce inspired a lifelong love of the sport.
Dave eventually raced himself before turning his attention to supporting his son Liam’s racing career. Years of travelling around the UK and Europe, watching Liam compete and helping him achieve British youth titles gave Dave an even deeper connection to the motocross community.
His career in the motorcycle trade began with South Coast Racing before moving into dealer networks, distribution and motorcycle businesses including RaceFX.
Today, Dave remains heavily involved in motocross and the wider motorcycle industry. He is also a Director of Tech 613 Ltd, the company behind StickNTrack, a smart tracking solution designed to help protect motorcycles and other valuable assets.
Colin Griffin
Colin's background
Colin’s journey began in much the same way. A lifelong motocross enthusiast, rider and racer, he went on to build the highly respected Tees Valley MX business.
Through years of hard work and a genuine passion for motorcycles, Colin became a recognised name in online motorcycle sales and developed strong relationships throughout the industry.
He also operates a successful motorcycle breaking business, supplying quality used parts to riders across the UK.
His knowledge of motorcycles, parts and the off-road market is something he brings to everything G² Offroad does.

Why G² Offroad?
After decades of working within the motorcycle industry and helping other businesses succeed, Dave and Colin decided it was time to build something of their own.
G² Offroad was born from a shared passion for motorcycles and a belief that buying a bike should be straightforward, honest and enjoyable.
They specialise in new and used off-road motorcycles, selling to both the public and trade through their online showroom and other established sales channels.
Every bike is presented with honest descriptions, quality photographs and detailed walkaround videos, giving customers as much information as possible before they buy.
They understand that competition motorcycles are different from road bikes. Used bikes have histories, and things can occasionally go wrong. Their approach is simple: be fair, be reasonable and work with the customer to find a solution.
They also offer nationwide motorcycle collection and delivery, helping customers and dealers safely transport bikes anywhere in the UK.
Their long-standing relationships with dealers, traders and people within the sport also allow them to source some excellent motorcycles, including stock that may never reach the wider market.
